Those of you who are long-time readers of my blog / mailing list know that I have a fondness for the idea of Saturnian self-care. This is the kind of self-care that involves eating kale, sleep hygiene, brisk walks, and cold Wim-Hof showers.
Unlike Venusian self-care (roses and bubble baths) or Jupitarian self-care (good food and good company), this is stuff that’s good for you and gives you a sense of being disciplined and ordered in your life and health. And sometimes we need that! We need to limit carbs and avoid sugar and do slow 10 sit-ups before sipping a green smoothie.
This coming Sunday is one of those days. The energy is kind of heavy, with the Sun square Saturn but it’s also the lunar day for health and healing. So what do we do? We lean in and take care of our health in a way that acknowledges Saturn’s ability to get us to slow down and do things right.
The rest of the week includes days for luck magic, making a prosperity lunar mansion talisman, spirit work, journeying, and protection. It’s a busy week, so get a good nights rest and eat your veggies, you have a lot of magic to do!
