And your houses
We just came out of eclipse season and it’s gotten me thinking about astrological houses and our natal node. One of my favorite astrological games is a kind of house informed mad libs. Let me give you an example for the recent pair of eclipses…
First, find your ascendent using whole sign houses with a tool like astro.com or astro-seek.com. You need to know your TIME of birth for this to work (though with whole sign houses, sometimes a little bit of uncertainty is OK). For example, my own birth time is known within an hour because UK birth certificates are vague. Fortunately for me, it doesn’t change any of my house positions with whole sign houses. It does change whether I’m a day or night chart and I’ve done some research and personal rectification to determine that I’m a day chart.
