Next week Sunday is the last lunar day of the month. But the new moon isn’t exact under after sunset on Monday and that makes Tuesday the 1st Lunar Day. So what’s Monday then? Well, some tools / systems could a lunar day 30 for this day, but since I’m going off the Hygromanteia, which only has 29 named days, I like to use this day as an in-between planning day.
There are a handful of planning days every year, frequently every other month or so, but sometimes less frequently and sometimes (especially in the winter when sunset is earlier) every month. This is the kind of thing that you can calculate based on your location (time zone / hemisphere). Basically, if yesterday was lunar day 29 and the new moon is overnight, tomorrow morning will be lunar day one (and you are in a planning day).
One of the reasons I like this is because it’s a reminder to take time to do a little more long range planning… just to reset and look ahead a little bit. Think about what you want to accomplish in the next month and then a bit beyond.
Other days that week include a magical cleaning day, a manifestation day, home protection, and a day to consider the mandate of heaven.
